Meet Sanders, a survivor born in early August 2020. He faced tough times when a neighbor accused him of chicken-chomping, leaving him with critical injuries, the loss of a limb and his tail, along with his friend.

Today, Sanders has made an amazing recovery. He’s friendly to people and is learning to socialize with other animals. While he’s a bit cautious around new dogs and sometimes protective of his food, we’re helping him adjust.

He’s ready to join a patient and caring family, although it’s best if there are no cats in the home, unless a professional dog trainer guides the introduction.

Sanders is sterilized, vaccinated, and microchipped, all set to be your loyal companion. Plus, he had a special encounter with Queen Camilla on November 1, 2023! Maybe he’ll tell you more about it when you meet!
